Birdsong (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self-contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property).
The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

The space
This new villa has been architecturally designed and constructed to a high standard with disability access in mind – ramp access (no stairs/steps), wider door openings and shower access. It has stunning views across the valley and is located in a private part of the property.
The villa has a compact well-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, fans, and air-conditioned bedroom. There is a King single sofa bed in the living area and can accommodate up to 3 guests.
It is positioned on a ridge with a bright and airy balcony and swing chair to sit back and take in the views and sounds of nature. Quality bedding and linen is used throughout and toiletries are also provided.
Guest access
You have exclusive use of the Birdsong villa. It is privately located and guests have full access to the surrounding 12 acres (not all accessible) which includes landscaped gardens, walking tracks and lush grassed hills. The layout of the villas and surrounding areas have been thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests have total privacy, and a peaceful and tranquil setting is assured throughout your stay.
Other things to note
Figtrees on Watson is not suitable for events or weddings and is not suitable for children.
Bedding can be made available for the sofa bed if required for a small additional per-stay charge.
